1/20/2011: RD Chin on Rudolph

The foundation will host the sixth installment of our salon series on Modern Architects with a discussion led by R.D. Chin.

Mr. Chin is a former employee of the master architect for various periods in the 80's and early 90's. With most of the commissions coming from Asia, these two decades marked the end of Rudolph's prolific career with the realization of some of the most iconic buildings such as the Colonnade Condominiums in Singapore and the Lippo Center in Hong Kong. Mr. Chin will discuss various projects he worked on under Rudolph and how these experiences shaped him as a practicing architect.

As head of RD Chin Feng Shui Architect in NYC, Mr. Chin aims to create harmony and balance to one's environment using unique spatial alignment strategies. He is the author of Feng Shui Revealed: An Aesthetic, Practical Approach to the Ancient Art of Space Alignment. A limited number of copies of this book will be available for purchase during this event.
